Services

Q: What services do you supply?
A: We offer professional pet waste management and yard sanitisation service, including optional odour neutralising spray and off-site waste disposal.

Q: Do you take the waste away?
A: Yes, for $5 per visit, we can remove the waste off-site. Otherwise, we double-bag it and dispose of it neatly in your bin.

Q: Am I bound to a contract?
A: No, Absolutely Not. there are no hidden fees, or contractual obligations.
Services can be paused/cancelled/stopped and restarted at any time.

Q: Can I book a quick one-off yard clean?
A: Yes, You can! Give us a call and we will arrange a time that suits you.

Pricing and Plans

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Services start at $30.00 per week for a standard weekly clean (up to two dogs, average yard size).
Prices vary depending on: Number of dogs (three or more), yard size, service frequency, (twice-weekly, weekly, fortnightly, one-off) and extras such as odour control or off-site waste disposal. Contact us for a personal quote tailored to your yard.

Q: Do I need to sign a contract?
Not at all! Simply choose your plan, you can change or cancel anytime with 48 hours’ notice.

Q: How do I pay?
A: Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash on arrival, please have exact amount on the day. Invoices are sent by email before your service commence.

Q: Can I reschedule my booking?
A: Yes, just let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.

Health & Safety

Q: Are your products safe for pets and children?
A: Yes. We only use non-toxic, bio-degradable, eco-friendly products that are safe for pets, children and the environment. Refer to SDS (Health & Safety)

Q: Do I need to be home during the service?
A: No, you don’t need to be home, just ensure we have safe yard access and dogs are secured if required.

Q: What if my dog is reactive or anxious?
Please let us know in advance. We’re experienced with nervous dogs, but your guidance helps ensure a stress-free visit.

Q: Do you follow Council regulations for waste disposal?
A: Yes, all waste is securely bagged and disposed of according to Council guidelines.

Q: What areas do you service?
A: Bark Yard & Beyond operates across multiple regions to deliver consistent, high quality pet-waste management services.
Dunedin Region: All suburbs including Greater Green Island and surrounding, Mosgiel, Maori Hill, Roslyn, Central City, South Dunedin, St Clair and surrounding, Anderson Bay Area, and the wider metropolitan area.
Blenheim Region: All Central and surrounding suburbs, and Picton.
We continue to expand service routes in both regions based on demand.

Q: Do you work in bad weather?
A: Services may be delayed during extreme weather or un-safe conditions, but we always keep you updated and reschedule if needed.

Q: Is my personal information safe?
A: Yes – all details such as gate codes or contact information remains confidential and are only used to provide your services.
